Awarded a prize for its Garden Party range - distillates and liqueurs made from vegetables and aromatic herbs - in 2016, Distillerie Massenez moved from the orchard to the vegetable garden, expressing itself through wild creations, 100% natural and capturing the essence of our gardens in a bottle. But the creative genius of this centuries-old House doesn't stop there, it grows and in 2019 will focus on another emblematic family of French gastronomy, namely that of Cheeses!

THE ORIGINS OF THE PROJECT LIE IN A SERIES OF ENCOUNTERS...

On the occasion of the 150th anniversary of Distillerie Massenez, Bernard Baud - President - and Élodie Naslin - Marketing & Communication Director of Grandes Distilleries Peureux Massenez - approached the famous couple of Meilleurs Ouvriers de France Fromagers, Christelle and Cyrille Lorho. The two couples struck up a friendship, and their passionate and their passionate discussions gave rise to a shared desire to promote their respective know-how through new consumption methods. Les Accords Frappés come to life and revolutionize the cheese moment! These Accords Frappés pair Massenez spirits with mature cheeses for a delightful awakening of the senses. Given the success of one of these pairings, called "Caresse de Bleu", and combining pairing Roquefort Caves Baragnaudes with Golden Eight , Cyrille Lorho organizes an interview with Xavier Thuret, also a MOF and committed to Maison Société. The Maison Peureux-Massenez meets Maison Société and its incredible history. It took over 160 years for these two iconic companies to come together! From these encounters sprang Bernard Baud's idea to work specifically on this Roquefort to extract its very essence, and to create Liqueur de Roquefort! A unique product that brings Société® into the world of spirits... Two previously unknown worlds come together, and the alchemy expresses itself as much in mixology as in gastronomy!
