The particularly fruity flavor of the G.E. Massenez Poire Williams pear eau-de-vie has gained a wide level of popularity. This is no coincidence, as one bottle contains the equivalent of fourteen kilograms of Williams Pears.

This relatively new eau-de-vie has been around for approximately forty years, and has been hugely successful thanks to its prestigious image and unique character.

Appearance: clear and colorless, sometimes with yellowish-green hues due to its aging, with a brilliance that is characteristic of Fruit Eaux-de-Vie. A supple and fluid eau-de-vie.

Nose: Direct with a distinct fragrance of Williams pear, with no discordant notes. This intense nose highlights the quality of the original fruit selection and the delicacy of the distillation. A very fruity, lingering flavor that makes it truly tempting to taste.

Palate: An Eau-de-Vie that stands out due to its intensity and its suppleness, its unique character and its longevity. Here, the ‘core’ of the pear can be found in its full roundness.

• Very intense floral notes adding a great freshness upon reaching the palate.
• Intense fruity notes, with an initial perception of fresh fruit which is overlapped by ripe fruit and the fruit in the form of a jam or preserve.
• Very noticeable spiced notes at the finish, with liquorice notes that are very typical of the Williams pear.
